Point and Shoot

So lately, I have been thinking that since I live in the city that I need a smaller camera that is more accessable than lugging around my DSLR. I've researched through websites such as DPreview.com and have narrowed my choice to this camera.

The Canon (I stick with my brands)Powershot SD550, it is comparable in shot size as my 300D, but its easy to get around. I had a couple of old Powershots that I was very satisifed with though they were slightly clunky in size. This is the ELPH which means its very tiny, and very powerful. As they say on the website.

"From its elegantly curved profile to its superb functionality, the ultra-compact PowerShot SD550 Digital ELPH rightfully owns the top spot in the Digital ELPH line. The camera's significant design achievement is matched by advanced imaging technology, for photography that makes as big an impact as the camera itself. Now equipped with an eye-opening 2.5 inch LCD screen"

The shot quality you can get from this camera is stunning, as you can see from a picture I took last weekend, I borrowed it from my friend and you can see the results.

Quality camera, this is a link to where you can buy it from a reputable site.

The Canon 300D

I have a Canon 300D Digital Rebel, and while there are newer cameras on the market. I find this camera to be very user friendly and with the right lens in the Canon System, can turn out some wonderful pictures, such as the picture you see on this page, which I took recently. This blog will be all about photography and digital art.
